To enable Leadzai to create, manage, and optimize advertising campaigns on Meta platforms — Facebook and Instagram — on behalf of the business, the client’s Facebook Page must be properly connected to our platform.
No personal data is shared — only Page management and Business Manager permissions.
Before You Get Started, You Need to:
Have access to your Leadzai Account;
Create the Business and the Campaign on the platform;
Have a Facebook account with full permission of the desired Facebook page;
Have full control over the page’s Business Portfolio (if existent);
Allow pop-ups.
Steps:
- Access your campaign, by clicking on the 3 dots, and then “Edit content”;
In the “Ads and Keywords” view, click the 3 dots and choose the “Edit” option
With these steps concluded, you can now select the Facebook and/or Instagram options, and the ad type desired.
A) Highlighted in blue is where you select a Facebook Page (in the case you have already connected one before);
B) Highlighted in green is where you can add a new Facebook page via email;
- After entering the email address, click “Send Email”. An email will be sent automatically. In the email received by the client, they must click “Log into Facebook”, which will then redirect to a new Leadzai page.
-
Click again on “Log in with Facebook”;
6. A pop-up window will appear: if this is the first time connecting through Leadzai, you can connect your Facebook account by clicking “Continue as [user name]"
7. Select the Page to grant access to Leadzai
A) Enable all active business pages — we recommend granting access to all pages, since the client may want to create campaigns for other pages in the future. Then click “Continue”.
B) Enable selected business pages — choose only the pages you wish to grant access to, and click “Continue”.
-
On the page where you choose the Business Profile to grant access to Leadzai, enable all current and future Businesses and click “Continue”.
NOTE: You may grant access to only one specific Business Profile; however, the connection error rate is higher in this case.
Leadzai only connects to the Facebook Page required for campaign management.We do not access, view, or use information from other Business Managers or associated accounts.
The process follows official Meta integrations, ensuring total security, privacy, and compliance with the platform’s data policies.
- Then will be redirected to a page summarizing the permissions granted, where you only need to click “Save”
-
On the next page, the confirmation that the profile has been associated with our platform will be shown. Click “Understood”.
-
Here you will be able to see if the permissions have been successfully granted, and if you have connected the Facebook page. A new page will open showing confirmation of the page connection.
A) Approved - if the connection has been successfully completed
B) Error - if there was a permissions issue, in this case, confirm whether the page admin access is correctly assigned
Important Note:
The “Something went wrong!” message will always appear when at least one of the pages being connected is missing a permission.
The connection for the remaining pages is approved; only the page with the missing permission needs to be reviewed.
- When the permissions were successfully granted, go back to the Leadzai platform and click on “Refresh”. You will be able to see the page(s) added and select the desired one.
