This guide helps you understand the state of a campaign and the status of its ads, so you always know whether your campaigns, and ads, are running, paused, archived, or waiting on something.
1. Campaign State
The campaign state describes the overall condition of the campaign itself.
| Enabled | The campaign is active and wants to run. |
| Paused | Manual status, pauses the campaign in all networks |
| Canceled | Manual and irreversible status, cannot be reactivated. |
| Draft | Campaign created or in creation process, not lunched yet; |
| Archived | Campaign reached the scheduled end date and automatically archives, can be reactive by updating the end date to a future one. |
Important: “Archived” is based on date only. A campaign becomes archived once its end date is before today.
2. Campaign Status (Ads Status)
Campaign status is based on the current state of the ads inside the campaign. It is calculated every time campaigns are queried.
We have eight ad status:
| Running | All ads are approved and running. |
| Paused | All ads are paused. |
| Canceled | All ads are canceled. |
| Draft | All ads are drafts. |
| Archived | All ads are archived. |
| Problems | All ads have problems and are not running. |
| Running - Problems | At least one ad is running, and there are some problems. |
| Running - Partial | At least one ad is paused. There are no problems. |
